camille walala

After graduating in textile design from the University of Brighton, Camille Walala established her namesake brand in East London in 2009. Today, her practice has taken her across the globe to transform homes and workspaces with her signature tribal-pop style. Drawing on influences such as the Memphis Movement, the Ndebele tribe and op-art master Victor Vasarely.

She is a purveyor of positivity, vibrant colour and bold pattern-work, this irreverent artist harnesses optimistic typography and exuberant geometries to create entire environments that stimulate the senses and inspire pure joy.
