M.A.H — Modern Art Hire — established by interior stylist and creative director Laura Fulmine offers a unique collection of fine art for use within the world of interiors. Presenting licensed artworks and sculptural pieces by a plethora of talented artists for exclusive hires and sales.

Due to increasingly stringent copyright laws, Laura experienced a distinct lack of current artwork available to hire for photography, film, interior design projects, and office spaces. With over a decade immersed in these industries, Laura has an insiders knowledge of the creative and traditional limitations of the prop world. Noticing a significant demand for a pioneering platform collaborating with contemporary artists.

More than just a hire company and gallery, M.A.H is an ever evolving collection of talented, inspirational artists and makers that will offer creative solutions to interior projects. M.A.H will regularly showcase work through seasonally curated exhibitions at their exceptional space on Vyner Street.

The most recent exhibition ‘Prototypes’ is a series of furniture pieces designed in collaboration with Dello Studio to coincide with London Design Festival. The ‘Prototypes’ furniture collection as seen below, includes a series of dining chairs, dining table, screen, shelving unit and coffee table, all ‘made to order’ in a series of materials including wood, resin, concrete and marble.

Laura Fulmine

Laura began her career working for fashion designers Luella Bartley and Giles Deacon, but soon realised her true passion was in interior design. After some time as Interiors Editor at Grand Designs Magazine, she launched her freelance career and has since worked with highly respected magazines and leading brands worldwide.

Laura has an exceptional, instinctive eye for trends and a unique approach to interior design. Her creative inspiration is influenced by everything from applied to outsider art, avant-garde theatre and film sets, to observing the everyday way in which people live, eat and socialise.

Laura is regularly commissioned to style and set design events, trade stands, and features for magazines, such as Wallpaper*, Elle Decoration and Homes and Gardens. She has many on going relationships with well known brands whom she has worked closely with over many years, as well as a host of private clients for whom she designs and consults.
